Protective style is a life saver 🙌 wearing my hair out by using heat wasn't a solution to me as well. I have high porosity weak and fragile 4b type, the only time I have peace with my hair is on protective style ( braids) and less manipulation. Especially if you have a busy lifestyle

I love your transparency! I agree, heat is not the answer for me either. I’m currently wearing chunky, loose twists. I keep them stretched at night by banding my hair with satin scrunches. And I moisturize them once, maybe twice a week. Since they’re chunky and loose, it takes very little time to do, which I’m thoroughly enjoying! 😅💕 Looking forward to seeing what’s next in your journey! 🥰

I never blow dry my hair like that, I'd have no hair left. I use the tension method. I hold my hair straight an move a nozzle blow dryer up and down until my hair is almost dry and then I go in with a brush which glides through.

Hi, Thats with all conditioners, they penetrate natural tressess with water. I find that with different condish.

I think Whitney can detangle her hair with the product when her hair is damp because of the type of hair she has but that doesn’t necessarily work for someone with thicker, coarser hair.

The pressure from the water running over the hair loosens the tangles and makes it easier to comb and brush through the hair in the shower. Saves on time and energy imo when I did this. Trying to buy products that work for tighter curls coils and kinks can be a trial and error situation and who got the money to waste trying to figure out the best products to use? I sure don't. So I use what works and stick with it.(Until my hair says otherwise 😅) Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾💜💐😀 Btw. Tatenda channel has natural hair products recommendations you can find in Australia. The product disappearing in the hair is not a problem. When it disappears into the hair, it penetrates the hair shaft, thus repairing damaged hair cuticles; therefore, I would not use the disappearing of the product into the hair to determine whether or not the product is effective. Does the product perform the actions it states on the bottle? That's what should be used to determine whether or not the product is effective.

Thank you for trying this product! It's not for me since i do not detangle when in the shower. I do dry detangle as you showed months back. The dry detangle is THE BEST FORM for MY hair! I did exactly as you did, deeply hydrated my hair rhen kept it moisturized daily for a week, then COATED my hair in castor oil to finger detangle and i tell you it was a breeze! From January to June my sged and broken hairs went down by 1/10 and I tracked my shed hair month to month. That's how I know for me, dry finger detangle on moisturized and hydrated hair with castor oil is the ABSOLUTE BEST!

My hair drinks products. When I go to the salon, and they apply the conditioner it’s all absorbed by my hair the stylist then reapplies conditioner because she thought she didn’t apply any lol. It happens to me all the time lol

Your hair is very very thick! I’m not surprised that you were required to use more product and water! My hair is fine type 4 and low to medium density and this product works great in my hair. My daughter has hair similar to yours and she had a similar experience to you. Have you ever used Camille Rose deep conditioners? Or Cecred ?

Hi Coily. There’s a trend around the natural hair community of washing your hair daily, claiming it makes your hair grow faster. Could you please make a video about your thoughts on that? Although i think it might be a lot to wash your hair daily, someone said that white people wash their hair almost everyday or at least 3 times per week and their hair growa faster than ours, and there’s a claim it has nothing to do with genetics… it sound very interesting. Could please do a research and tell your thoughts on this matter? I really value your advice. 😊 How could one go about washing hair daily?Could it be something that you would be willing to try out as a challenge in the future? Maybe if the hair is in a protective style it would be easier? But they claim the hair is always moisturized.

I use it as a co-wash/detangler and I use it to re-moisturize/re-hydrate my twists in between washdays. So in each instance I use it with a lot of added water which works best for my loser coils. Also, I'm not a fan of the smell either. I love both you and Whitney and I want you both to succeed in this influencer space. Thanks for the review and best of luck with your e-book.❤

Favorite moisturizing shampoo is Keracare JBCO shampoo. Clarifier, I like Kinky Curly Come clean or Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Clarifying shampoo. Love all three! I also use clay at least once every 2 months-i mix bentonite & rhassoul clays.

Tweak'd By Nature Kukui Nut oil Hawaiian peaches and cream cleansing hair treatment worked on my hair. Depending where you buy it can cost you or can be affordable. eBay may be an option to get it for cheaper It was the best product I had used for my hair type. I do a mix of both. I finger detangle first to make sure there are no knots and gently brush to make sure I get the shed hairs.

Some shampoos are better than other. You should try Adwoa clarifying shampoo in the blue bottle. They call it clarifying but it's not drying at all. It cleanses well and detangle ant the same time. Most shampoos tangle my time but not this one. I was so happy when I used it for the first time! You need to try it.

I can't say that I've ever used a shampoo that made it easy to detangle, but then I tend to detangle pre-shampoo, so I don't worry about it too much. That being said, I do like the design essentials moisturising shampoo. They have a honey and almond/avocado one that work equally well (I like to keep one of each on hand.)
